Dr. Nancy Morgan
Dr. Nayar’s teaching, research and grant writing skills were of great benefit to Daytona State College and many people were positively impacted by his energy, passion and inspiration. His greatest strength is his ability to nurture and encourage others to engage in STEM research. As an experienced researcher himself, he knows the importance of basic research skills and evaluation principles and patiently leads others in the effective practice of both.

I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Dr. Ram Nayar on both NIH and NSF grants for more than 15 years. What is impressive about Ram is his ability to work as a team player as he led many teams over the years. His knowledge of federal grants, and foundation grants is evident from the results he has produced. He is well versed in the IRB and IACUC rules. He is a member of the IRB committee of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, in Daytona Beach, Florida. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of grants writing, especially on experimental design and evaluation components. I would enthusiastically recommend Dr. Nayar as a consultant on every aspects of grant writing. On a personal note, he is friendly and easy to work with. Thanks, Ram for all those years we worked together in STEM related research and grants.

I first met Dr. Nayar about three years ago when we collaborated on a National Science Foundation grant proposal focused on increasing middle school children interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Without question, Dr. Nayar was pleasant to work with and I was impressed with his extensive expertise related to grant writing and evaluation. In addition, Dr. Nayar was able to build a team of collaborators that included educators from primary and secondary levels, local representatives, and industrial partners involved in STEM fields. Another quality that stood out to me was that Dr. Nayar was retiring from Daytona State College, but he had so much passion with this particular grant proposal that he worked endless hours with us while we continued developing and finalizing the grant proposal, even though he was not listed as a collaborator when the grant was submitted. This resonates with his engaged and enthusiastic personality focused on our youth and well-being in society.
In future grant proposals, we have used Dr. Ram Nayar as a consultant and expert evaluator due to his impressive resume associated with grants successfully received and renewed. Even though he has retired from teaching, his dedication to educating young minds in STEM fields persists as evident through his continuous work with Bethune-Cookman University, his radio talk show, and his own consulting firm.
Ram is a very dedicated and highly motivated teacher and professor. He is great to work for and with. He is highly skilled in his profession.
